Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson says recent power failures in Texas due to extreme cold are the fault of renewable energy sources.
Johnson says the incident shows that America isn’t ready for more renewable energy. Johnson explains turning to more renewables may cause more areas to experience similar issues.
Texas does still get most of its power from coal and gas plants, many of which were damaged or shut off during the crisis to prevent damage.
