A local judge has denied a motion to move the pending trial of Timothy Hauschultz.
The Manitowoc Herald Times Reporter reported that Judge Jerilyn Dietz ruled yesterday that publicity surrounding the murder of 7-year-old foster child Ethan Hauschultz has been mostly factual and would not prevent finding an impartial jury. Dietz also noted that media have had only limited coverage during the past year while attorneys were trading motions prior to the trial.
The 50-year old Timothy Hauschultz has been charged with murder and three counts of felony child abuse along with other minor charges regarding the April 20th 2018 death of the child. Ethan Hauschultz had been living with Timothy and his wife and son.
