The Mishicot Girls Basketball team used a late-run to pull away and defeat St. Mary Catholic 63-47 in the WIAA Division-4 Girls Sectional semifinals.
The host Indians outrebounded the Zephyrs 39-to-21 and displayed balanced scoring with 3-girls in double-figure scoring. Desiree Kleiman led the way with 17 points, Kylie Schmidt added 13 and Ally McCardle chipped in 10.
Mishicot is now a winner of 16 straight games and it’ll host the Randolph Rockets tomorrow afternoon (February 20th) in a scheduled 3:00 PM tipoff for the Sectional championship.
Randolph was a winner over Crandon 52-47 in the other semifinal.
