The Milwaukee Brewers have added another pitcher to their bullpen, hoping hard-throwing Brad Boxberger still has something left in the tank.
The 32-year-old signed a minor league contract with Milwaukee.
Boxberger made 23 appearances for the Miami Marlins last season, striking out 18 batters in 18 innings with a 3.00 earned run average, and made the American League All-Star team in 2015 while saving a league-leading 41 games for the Tampa Bay Rays.
He has 77 saves and a 3.56 E-R-A in nine seasons with the Rays, the Padres, the Diamondbacks, Royals, and Marlins.
