The next step on the tournament trail will occur tonight (February 18) for the Mishicot Girls Basketball team.
The top-ranked Indians play host to Big East foe, St. Mary Catholic, in a WIAA Division-4 Sectional semifinal game. Airtime (with Brian Norton & Scotty Paulow) is set for 6:45 PM ahead of a 7:00 PM tip on 97.1 AM WCUB, and at CubRadio.com.
The winner plays either 2nd seeded Randolph or the 3rd seed Crandon this weekend for the right to go to State.
Meanwhile, the WIAA has determined next week’s State Girls Basketball Tournament schedule.
The tourney is planned for Thursday through Saturday, February 25th-27th at two venues.
The Final-4 in Divisions 2, 4 and 5 will be played in western Wisconsin at the La Crosse Center while Divisions 1-and-3 are scheduled for Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh.
