Wisconsin head coach Greg Gard says his Badgers have to rebound better to turn things around.
Playing a full 40 minutes and hitting the boards are important. Micah Potter and Nate Reuvers didn’t come down with a single rebound in Sunday’s disappointing 67-59 loss against Michigan.
Wisconsin has dropped five of its last nine games. Iowa is ranked number-11 and is favored in the Big Ten Conference showdown.
Gard says his offense works better when the lineup is more mobile. That means Reuvers and Potter aren’t on the court at the same time very often.
Garza is a top candidate for the Naismith Player of the Year award and he will make things tough on both of the Badgers’ big men.
Wisconsin hosts Iowa and the Hawkeyes’ outstanding frontcourt star Luka Garza tonight (February 18th) at 6:00 p-m.
