A 28-Year-old Manitowoc man remains in the County Jail on numerous charges after allegedly holding a woman against her will in a city residence.
Court Commissioner Patricia Koppa set bail at $2500 cash for Tracy L. Lucas who’s charged with Aggravated Battery Intending Bodily Harm, and False Imprisonment each with a Domestic Violence Enhancer, as well as Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Manitowoc County Metro Drug Investigators were in the process of picking up Lucas on a warrant when a woman who lived there told them that he had struck her with a gun and threatened her many times.
Lucas also allegedly held the victim against her will by using physical violence as a form of coercion. He also allegedly told her the only way she was going to leave the house was in a body bag.
The woman cooperated with authorities to lure Lucas out of the home and he was taken into custody without incident.
Conditions of Bail are that Lucas possess no weapons and have no contact with the victim. He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for February 22nd at 1:30 PM.
