Blowing a 14-point lead in Sunday’s loss to Michigan is hard to swallow, but one freshman was able to show up big.
Guard Johnny Davis was the only Badger able to consistently score in the second half as his team blew the lead and dropped a 67-59 decision.
Taylor made a couple of difficult shots and ended up with 11 points, while also catching the eye of Badgers basketball legend Sam Dekker, who tweeted, “Johnny Davis stands-out. He moves like a true hooper.”
Davis is averaging seven points and four rebounds-a-game, hitting 46-percent from the field and connecting on 10-of-25 3-point shots.
