Another week has gone by, and even more people have received a COVID-19 vaccine.
In his COVID-19 Update on Friday, Emergency Services Director Travis Waack said that they administered an additional 400 first dose vaccines this week, while 200 people received their second and final doses.
The County has now administered 3,200 vaccines, however other places are administering vaccines as well. That includes the Walgreens location in Manitowoc, Aurora Medical Center, Holy Family, and Prevea Community COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic locations. The only people eligible to receive the vaccine are those aged 65 and older, medical personnel, police, and firefighters.
