A positive test result for COVID-19 means point guard Jrue Holiday won’t be available to the Milwaukee Bucks for an uncertain period of time.
The information kept him out of Monday’s game against the Nuggets and there has been no official announcement.
Teammate Khris Middleton confirmed what the problem is after the game. Holiday has two children, including an infant born late last year. Middleton says he’s concerned about that.
He and the rest of the team are hoping the test result for Holiday proves to be a false positive and he can return to action.
Bryn Forbes took Holiday’s place in the starting lineup as the Bucks won their fifth game in a row 125-112.
