Khris Middleton distributed a career-high 12 assists as the Milwaukee Bucks ran their winning streak to five-in-a-row Monday night in Denver 125-112.
With point guard Jrue Holiday not playing due to the N-B-A health and safety protocols, Middleton had the ball in his hands more than usual. He scored 29 points and Giannis Antetokounmpo had 30.
The Bucks normally have a hard time winning games in Denver. They have lost 40-of-50 contests played in the Mile High City.
Nikola Jokic scored 35 to lead the Nuggets.
Holiday won’t be making the trip to Phoenix with his team for Wednesday’s game against the Suns, which will be the fourth game of a six-game road trip.
