There are a pair of meetings scheduled for this evening in the city of Manitowoc.
The Manitowoc Public Utilities Commission will start things off at 4:00 PM in the MPU Conference Room. After approving their Vehicle Replacement Policy and a few other items, the General Manager will give his report.
The Commission will then look over a couple of quotes for the water main construction inspection support services, and for lawn care and landscaping services for this year.
Then at 5:30 PM, the Public Safety Committee will convene in the Council Chambers. After receiving reports from the Police and Fire Departments, and from the Division of Life and regarding the Blight Expense, the Committee will discuss the city ordinance which regulates outdoor lighting.
They will also be looking over a request to reconfigure the Cleveland Avenue and Maritime Drive intersection, a project which is estimated to cost $80,000.
