The Manitowoc County Health Department completed its COVID-19 vaccination clinic last week having administered 2,600 doses of the Moderna vaccine.
According to Health Officer Stephanie Lambert, the Health Department received 400 more doses for this week, with 200 second doses, for a total of 600 vaccines being administered.
Vaccine eligible individuals continue to include adults 65 and older, frontline healthcare workers, and police and fire personnel.
Lambert said in a news release, “Vaccine supply is limited, and we expect appointment slots to be filled quickly. Please be assured that both the Health Department and community partners will continue to provide vaccines in the weeks and months to come.”
