Wisconsin Medical Society C-E-O Doctor Bud Chumbley is urging everyone to continue masking up no matter what happens with the statewide order.
Chumbley said, “during the pandemic, we’ve learned a lot about this COVID-19 virus, and one of the things we’ve learned is that the spread is mitigated by the wearing of masks.”
Governor Tony Evers issued a new statewide health emergency and mask order Thursday after the Assembly voted to end them.
Republican legislative leaders are now urging the state Supreme Court to end what Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu calls “a constitutional crisis.”
