
The Marquette women’s basketball team improved to 9-and-1 in Big East play with a 55-48 win at Georgetown Wednesday afternoon.
The Hoyas led most of the first half before M-U went a 6-0 run to take a 24-20 lead at the end of the second quarter.
Jordan King scored a game-high 17 points in the Golden Eagles’ sixth straight victory. Lauren Kleunen had eight points and six rebounds and Camryn Taylor chipped in seven points and eight boards.
Graceann Bennett led Georgetown with 12 points and six rebounds.
Marquette hosts third-ranked U-Conn on Friday night.
