The Milwaukee Bucks dominated from the opening tip, scoring 46 points in the first quarter on the way to a 134-106 pasting of Portland last night.
That snapped a short two-game losing streak.
The Bucks hit half of their 3-pointers and put six players in double figures. Jrue Holiday led the way with 22 and Bobby Portis came off the bench to add 21. Holiday, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Khris Middleton combined for 24 assists.
Milwaukee’s record improves to 12-and-8, good for second place in the Eastern Conference, 2.5 games behind Philadelphia.
The Bucks return to action Wednesday when they host the Indiana Pacers.
