The Wisconsin Department of Health Services is reporting that more than 100,000 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
The milestone was reached over the weekend. A slow rollout of the vaccine in Wisconsin means thousands of people in the first eligibility phase still haven’t received their shots. As of Saturday, 544,000 of the 846,000 doses allocated to the Badger State have been administered.
The state’s death toll from the virus is 5896.
