This has been a very difficult year with the COVID-19 pandemic, but Shady Lane is excited to share that they have completed their first round of COVID-19 vaccinations for assisted living, skilled nursing, and staff.
Through a partnership with Walgreens Pharmacy, they were able to quickly schedule and administer the Moderna vaccine to those most vulnerable. Residents and staff received the first of two shots in January and will be given the next round in February.
Shady Lane will continue to follow guidance from both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and continue to screen staff daily, monitor resident frequently, and rely on national labs for regular testing.
