Madison police say they found no evidence of explosives at two 7-Eleven stores Thursday.
Bomb threats were made against locations on State Street and South Park Street. Traffic was blocked off and nearby buildings were evacuated starting shortly before noon.
U-W-Madison police tweeted they were evacuating Memorial Library and the Extension Building at about 12:30 p-m and the report of a second threat came in just before 1:00 p-m.
A police dog was brought in to help with the search and an official report at 3:00 p-m indicated no discoveries were made.
Nobody was hurt and police haven’t reported any arrests.
