Wisconsin forward Micah Potter converted a three-point play, then connected on a 3-point shot moments later to help the Badgers withstand a Maryland rally Wednesday night 61-55.
Potter finished with 23 points and 12 rebounds in the road victory.
Wisconsin had built a 38-20 halftime lead, but the Terrapins wiped out most of it in the second half.
D’Mitrik Trice played 38 of the 40 minutes while scoring 13 points, taking down eight rebounds and adding three assists.
The win was revenge for a Badgers (13-and-4, 7-and-3 Big Ten) team that was upset at home by Maryland last month.
Wisconsin travels to Penn State for its next game Saturday.
