The Wisconsin Badgers scored 12 straight points in the second half to remove all doubt in Wednesday’s 68-52 home win over Northwestern.
The 12-0 run was capped by a Micah Potter 3-pointer to give Wisconsin a 56-39 lead.
The Wildcats didn’t score for almost six minutes, and the Badgers led most of the way – despite missing nine straight shots right after halftime.
Tyler Wahl came off the bench to lead a balanced attack with 14 points.
Northwestern (6-7, 3-6 Big Ten) has now lost six games in-a-row.
Wisconsin’s record improves to 12-3, including 6-2 in conference games.
The Badgers are scheduled to host Ohio State Saturday.
