Kawhi Leonard stopped the Bucks short of the Eastern Conference championship two seasons ago. Next time it may be Kevin Durant.
Pairing Durant with James Harden makes the Brooklyn Nets a major threat to the Milwaukee Bucks’ hopes of a title. Durant does everything Giannis Antetokounmpo does – plus he’s a shooting threat from outside.
In the closing seconds of Milwaukee’s 125-123 loss to the Nets Monday night, when the game was on the line, the Bucks put the ball in Khris Middleton’s hands.
When teams wall Antetokounmpo off from the lane, he can be neutralized and that has happened in the last two postseasons.
At least one columnist says, “the Eastern Conference runs through Kevin Durant now.” The Bucks hope that’s not true.
