Madison police say a man is under arrest for threatening to detonate a bomb on a Madison Metro bus.
The 48-year-old suspect was reportedly causing a disturbance on a bus Thursday morning when he yelled that he had a bomb.
Investigators say the man struggled with officers as they were taking him into custody. He told the officers, “the bomb is inside me!”
The suspect was taken to a hospital for an evaluation and will be booked in the Dane County jail.
His name wasn’t released right away.
