Prevea Health has announced the creation of a new position within the hospital system, the Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion.
This position was created as a reaction to the D rating the state of Wisconsin received on the 2020 Wisconsin Health Disparities Report: Rural and Urban Populations.
To carry this commitment forward, Prevea Health has welcomed Renita Robinson, MEd, MS, ABD to their family as Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion.
As part of this role, Renita will mine through available data to identify disparities in our health care system statewide and offer solutions to eliminate those disparities.
In a news release, Robinson acknowledged that this is very difficult work, but said that this region is ready to adapt to the changing demographics and take the next step.
