Lakeside Foods CEO to Retire After Near 30-Year Career

After a near 30-year career as a corporate executive in Manitowoc, the CEO of Lakeside Foods has decided it is time to retire.

Glen Tellock started his career in Manitowoc in 1992, where he joined the Manitowoc Company and served in many roles within the organization. When they left the Lakeshore area, he was hired by Lakeside Foods to serve as their CEO, a position he has held since 2016.

Joe Yanda, the current COO of Lakeside, will be assuming the role upon Tellock’s departure, which will go into effect on June 1^st.

Yanda joined the company in 1999 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. He served in numerous operations and sales leadership roles before becoming COO in 2019.

Tellock said of the future of the food distribution giant, “Lakeside is embarking on its next four-year strategic growth plan this year, which Joe was instrumental in developing, and it makes sense for him to lead its execution.”
