The Christmas season is now officially over, and many people may be wondering what to do with their Christmas tree.
Those living in Manitowoc have a very simple option, put your tree on the corner of your street by tomorrow at 6:00 AM, and they will be disposed of properly.
City Council President Eric Sitkiewitz spoke about the pickup during yesterday’s Manitowoc City Update on WOMT and WCUB Radio. He asked that all trees be “free of all ornaments and decorations“, and thanked Pozorski Hauling for providing the service.
Those who aren’t ready to take down their tree will be able to schedule a different pick up date for a nominal fee.
Mishicot citizens will be able to do the same thing next weekend.
