A spokesman for the City of Manitowoc Streets Department has announced a closure.
According to a news release from Streets Team Leader, Billy Hutterer, South 8th Street will remain closed to through-traffic from Columbus to Madison Streets, beginning at 7:00 am Friday.
Hutterer explains the closure is for the replacement of a water service, and added South 8th between Columbus and Madison Streets is expected to be reopened to traffic by the end of the workday.
