The Green Bay Packers will open the gates to about six-thousand season ticket holders when they play in the N-F-C Divisional Round playoff game January 16th or 17th.
Team President Mark Murphy says more fans can be safely added to the stands in Lambeau Field. They will be arranged in socially-distanced pods of two, four, and six people throughout the 80,000 seat stadium.
Only season ticket holders who opted into the 2020 season will be eligible to buy tickets. More front-line health care workers and first responders will also be welcomed.
The team is hoping the additional fans will add to the playoff atmosphere.
