Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a season-high 43 points while leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a 125-115 victory over the Pistons Monday night.
The win boosts Milwaukee over the .500 mark for the first time this season at 4-and-3.
Detroit played with two of its top three scorers out of action – Blake Griffin and Josh Jackson.
The Bucks took the lead in the first quarter and never gave it up. Detroit did manage to cut the margin to eight, 118-110, with two minutes left, but Antetokounmpo blocked a shot in the lane and the visitors never got closer.
The same two teams meet again Wednesday on the Bucks’ homecourt.
