The Green Bay Packers have some of the N-F-L’s best skill position players, but it may be the team’s depth that serves it well in the postseason.
When Rick Wagner went to the sidelines with a knee injury in the game against Tennessee, previous starter Lucas Patrick trotted out onto the field to play right guard and Billy Turner moved from right guard to right tackle.
The Packers played on with no loss of effectiveness.
That series ended with rookie A-J Dillon running 30 yards for the T-D – off the right side of the line.
Head Coach Matt LaFleur doesn’t expect Wagner’s injury to be serious, but it isn’t known now if he will be available for the final game of the season at Chicago.
