Wisconsin moves up three places this week to #6 in the AP Top-25 Mens College Basketball Poll.
The Badgers enter play against Maryland tonight at the Kohl Center with an 8-and-1 record. In all, there are 9 Big-10 basketball teams ranked in the Top-25. After Wisconsin, Iowa. checks in at #10, Rutgers is 14th, Illinois #15, Michigan checks in at 16th, Michigan State is #17, Northwestern and Minnesota crack the top-25 for the 1st time at 19th and 21st, respectively. And, the Buckeyes of Ohio State are #25.
The top-5 in the AP listing are Gonzaga, Baylor, Kansas, Villanova, and Houston.
