The Manitowoc County Recycling Center is suspending their electronics recycling program, compost site use, and similar services to residents and businesses as of Monday, December 28th due to a COVID-19 staffing issue.
Operations Manager John Reisenbuechler adds that the main office is closed including commercial and municipal haulers until direction is given that it’s safe to reopen for everyone.
Reisenbuechler adds that the self-serve drive-up residential recycling drop off site is also closed until further notice.
