A sophomore guard from New Holstein reportedly set a girls basketball school scoring record last night (Monday).
Grace Schisel of the Huskies poured in 41 points in New Holstein’s 74-to-17 rout of Campbellsport. Craig Hoffman, Sports Editor with the Tri-County News tells us that he had no record of any New Holstein girl scoring that many points in his 20-years of coverage, and former coach, Tom Hau does not recall any of his players reaching that mark either.
Hoffman also pointed out this year’s team is 5-and-2 overall, and the program is 4-years removed from a 53-game losing streak.
