Seven Green Bay Packers players have been named to the Pro Bowl roster – the most since a similar number of Packers were chosen in 2011.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, wide receiver Davante Adams, left tackle David Bakhtiari, guard Elgton Jenkins, linebacker Za’Darius Smith, cornerback Jaire Alexander and running back Aaron Jones were named Monday.
All but Jones are starters.
The ninth selection for Rodgers ties him with Forest Gregg and Brett Favre for the most in franchise history.
Adams is the first Packers wide receiver to get the honor four straight years since James Lofton made six-in-a-row starting in 1980.
It’s the first time for Alexander, Jenkins, and Jones.
