One of two victims of a single-vehicle weekend crash in Kewaunee County has died from his injuries.
Kewaunee County Sheriff Matt Joski says that 54-year-old Thomas P. Geldmeyer of Forestville lost control of his SUV on an icy portion of State Highway 54 in the Town of Casco just after 7:00 PM Saturday night when he crossed the road and entered into the opposite ditch and was ejected.
A passenger identified as a 55-year-old Forestville woman was trapped inside the wreckage and had to be extricated by members of the Luxemburg Fire Department. Her name has not been released and at last word she was at a Green Bay hospital with unspecified injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department.
