Seventeen states and the Trump campaign are asking the US Supreme Court to invalidate the election results in Wisconsin, Georgia, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed the suit. He and the other plaintiffs want the Supreme Court to have the state legislature pick who votes in the Electoral College.
The states that are suing say voter fraud elsewhere dilutes the votes of their residents.
Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul says tax dollars are being wasted on what he calls “a genuinely embarrassing lawsuit.”
