The Milwaukee Brewers have invited the Nashville Sounds franchise to be the team’s Triple-A affiliate.
Milwaukee and Nashville were previously connected for 10 years from 2005-to-2014.
The Sounds play home games at the downtown First Horizon Park that was opened five years ago.
When the final details are hammered out, Nashville will join Biloxi, Carolina and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers as minor league affiliates.
