The Roncalli Boys Basketball team used a huge second-half to beat New Holstein and remain undefeated on the young season. The Jets defeated the Huskies 64-41 in their home opener at the hangar.
Coach Joe Garceau’s ballclub used a 43-to-20 scoring advantage to pull away and hand New Holstein its’ 2nd straight loss. Roncalli had 4-players finish in double-digit scoring, led by Tyler Bonin with 17-points, Brayden Yanda had 12, Ryan Fischer scored 11 and season scoring leader Luke Pautz added 10.
Henry Schnell paced the Huskies with 9-points in a losing effort.
The (3-0) Jets continue EWC action Friday night at Kiel, followed by a non-conference matchup at Oak Creek late Saturday afternoon.
