Senior guard Koby McEwen scored 28 points to lead Marquette to an 82-68 win over U-W-Green Bay Tuesday night.
The game is a tuneup for the Golden Eagles showdown with perennial power U-C-L-A Friday.
Marquette freshman Dawson Garcia added 18 points and 7 rebounds. P-J Pipes topped the Phoenix scoring with 22 points. Josh Jefferson added 17.
The Golden Eagles improved their record to 4-1.
Marquette has won 10 of the 13 meetings between the two Wisconsin teams.
The Phoenix next game is on the road at Northern Iowa Saturday.
