A Waukesha alderman who is charged in a domestic incident has more troubles – some of his constituents are starting a recall effort.
Petitions are being passed right now. The group called the Committee to Recall Aaron Perry has until February 2nd to collect 712 signatures. The recall isn’t based on criminal charges, and backers are challenging where the 12th District Alderman lives.
If they get enough signatures on the petitions, the group wants a special election for Perry’s seat to be held – or, the addition of that seat to the spring election ballot.
Notice was filed with the Waukesha City Clerk of Courts Office Friday.
