The Marquette Golden Eagles are favored to beat U-W-Green Bay tonight (Tuesday) by more than 20 points.
If the upset win over the Wisconsin Badgers is going to be the start of an excellent season for coach Steve Wojciechowski’s team, a statement win over the Phoenix would be a good way to maintain the momentum.
Green Bay has a chance to be decent this season, but it’s winless so far.
Marquette is tasked with proving the two-point win over the Badgers wasn’t a fluke.
Even more important – giving a good showing Friday on the West Coast against the U-C-L-A Bruins.
That could make the meeting with the Phoenix a “trap game.”
