A 62-year-old Kiel man was arrested yesterday for Operating While Intoxicated 8th Offense.
Mark W. Albers was pulled over by a Wisconsin State Trooper about 4:15 p.m. on State Highway 67 outside the Kiel City Limits. The trooper discovered Albers was in possession of open intoxicants inside his vehicle and was operating on a suspended license. An investigation determined the Kiel resident was operating under the influence. A legal blood draw was conducted at an area hospital and Albers was booked into the Manitowoc County Jail.
The State Patrol was assisted on scene by the Kiel Police Department.
