Valders High School Staff will be undergoing active shooter training on Friday. Students will have the day off, as it was a scheduled service day, and more than 30 emergency response agencies will be on hand to assist in the training. The entirety of the activities will take place on school grounds, and should be completed by 5:00 PM. A press release by the Two Rivers Police Department stated, “This exercise culminates a two-year-long process of awareness training events and tabletop exercises focusing on enhanced inter-agency coordination and rapid care to the injured.”
