President Donald Trump is promising a court challenge to the results of the Wisconsin recount.
The Trump campaign paid $3 million for the recount and watched Biden pick up another 87 votes. Dane County canvassers finished their work Sunday. Trump picked up 45 votes in Dane County, but Biden gained another 132 votes in Milwaukee County.
The recount had little effect on President-elect Biden’s 20,600 vote margin in the state.
A spokesperson for the Trump campaign, Jenna Ellis, says the Wisconsin recounts “revealed serious issues” about the legality of the ballots.
The chair of the Wisconsin Elections Commission must certify the vote by Tuesday.
