The defense team for the teenager accused of shooting two protesters to death in August says actor Ricky Schroder helped push his bond fundraiser “over the top.”
17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse was freed after posting the bond last week.
A photo of Rittenhouse, Schroder, and attorney John Pierce was tweeted by a second Rittenhouse attorney a few hours after he was released.
Earlier, attorney L-Lin Wood had tweeted Schroder, known for the television series “Silver Spoons” and “N-Y-P-D Blue”, had donated to the fund.
