Over the weekend, multiple reports were filed with the Green Bay Police Department of items being stolen from vehicles.
The reports came in on Sunday, and all of them came from the area west of King Elementary School and He-Nis-Ra Park. The thefts reportedly happened between 10:00 PM on Saturday and 2:00 AMĀ on Sunday.
Anyone with any information on who may be responsible is encouraged to contact the GBPD at 920-391-7450.
Officials are reminding people to lock their car doors at night, and whenever you are going to be leaving your car alone. A majority of theft from vehicle cases involve vehicles that were left unlocked.
Also, be sure to never leave valuable items in plain sight. Either bring them with you or make sure they are hidden from view.
Manitowoc Police Chief Nick Reimer has previously stated that these kinds of criminals are looking for a quick easy score and are likely to leave your vehicle alone if you follow those guidelines.
