The Two Rivers Police Department was involved in a short vehicle pursuit over the weekend.
According to Lieutenant Aaron Gauthier with the TRPD, an officer attempted to stop a vehicle traveling on Lincoln Avenue for a traffic violation at around 11:45 am on Saturday. The driver failed to stop, and a short chase ensued.
The vehicle did stop roughly 3 blocks down the road, and the driver was taken in without incident.
The unnamed driver was cited for Operating While Intoxicated.
Officers were assisted by the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department and the Two Rivers Fire Department.
