A 28-year old man is confined to the Manitowoc County Jail after he reportedly threatened a woman with a piece of lumber on the city’s southside early today.
Manitowoc police were sent to the 1100 block of South 21st Street, shortly before 1:00 Tuesday morning, after the victim said the male had struck her house with a 2×4.
The female caller told dispatchers that she thought the male subject had a gun and was high on meds.
She proceeded to lock herself and her family in the lower apartment of the house.
Arriving police officers made a perimeter around the block and one officer flew a drone over the property in an effort to locate the suspect.
The 28-year old man was later arrested on a charge of Disorderly Conduct & is being held on a Felony Bench Warrant through the Manitowoc Police Department along with a Misdemeanor Bench Warrant through the sheriff’s office.
