Wisconsin head football coach Paul Chryst is back on the job in a limited fashion after getting a positive test result for COVID-19 last month.
His isolation period ended Thursday, though he won’t be leading any team practices or in-person meetings.
A total of 28 players and staff members with the Wisconsin program have tested positive since October 21st.
The university’s chief infection officer, Michael Moll, says nobody with the program has experienced severe symptoms or had to be hospitalized.
If the Badgers are able to play the Michigan game, quarterback Graham Mertz would be able to take the field. His 21 days out of game action – required by the Big Ten protocol – ends November 13th.
