Milwaukee Brewers third base coach Ed Sedar is transitioning into an advisory role.
That’s the only major change coming for the Brewers coaching staff.
Sedar has been a base coach for 14 years, the last 10 at third. The team announced its coaching staff for the 2021 season Wednesday, with Quintin Berry now coaching third.
Bullpen catchers Robinzon Diaz and Marcus Hanel won’t be back. Hanel served as a bullpen catcher for the last 20 years. Nestor Corredor and Adam Weisenburger will handle those duties starting this spring.
